The first online race of the 2021 Chinese college student formula competition series was held in May and June this year. The content of the competition was carried out in the form of static project presentation and online defense, without dynamic competition. The competition included 123 teams from Tsinghua University, Jilin University, Tongji University and other universities. The three teams of Wande team of our university participated in all the projects, such as racing car design, cost manufacturing analysis and business marketing report.

On June 19, the final results of the 2021 Chinese college student formula competition series were announced. Wande team of our university achieved excellent results in the oil team, electric team and driverless team. Wande electric team won the national first prize, oil team and driverless team won the national second prize. In the single award, the electric team won the first prize in the MATLAB/Simlink control strategy development and software implementation competition, and entered the final for the first time in the cost reporting competition, and won the second place in the single competition. The driverless team won the second prize of MATLAB/Simlink vehicle dynamics simulation competition. All the three teams won the award of outstanding communication team of the year.
