On November 20, Mr. Huang Xiangkui, President of Dongfangyuxin International Education Science and Technology Ltd, visited our university. And President Wang Qi received the guests in Building 3. Both discussed the issues of course introduction, faculty training, talent cultivation, and specialty accreditation involved in the “AIR Project” namely a high-level application-oriented university construction project including sino-europe/ sino-australia/ sino-singapore industry-education integration. And both of them expressed the willing to gradually implement the international cooperation project of our university.

During the meeting, President Wang Qi showed his warm welcome to the visitors and introduced the major setup, discipline construction, scientific achievements and internationalized developing strategy of our university. He sincerely hoped to facilitate our discipline construction through the launching of the international cooperation projects like 4+0, 3+1+1 or 4+1, etc.; to increase the opportunities for our young teachers to go abroad for further training through the introduction of teachers’ overseas training project; to give a great impetus to our application-oriented university construction and to comprehensively improve the connotative development of higher education in our university so as to obtain more cooperative resources and greater developing space for our university.

Mr. Huang Xiangkui showed his gratitude to our kind reception and specifically introduced the project policy, supporting sets and project value, etc. And he Dongfangxinyu will do their utmost to assist LUT to get engaged with foreign academies in terms of resource introduction, industry-education integration selection, educational administration system, and specialty courses in order to enhance the great progress for LUT in platform establishment and discipline construction.
